Galactic Federation Navy

My own take on what the uniforms of the Galactic Federation of the Metroid universe should look like, which is basically just an updated version of my previous two works: [link] and [link] now that I'm more skilled at using Photoshop.

I've tried to stay truer to the US Navy rank/rate structure this time around, with a few changes. Both the badge and the collar insignia are worn by all personnel. I considered making shoulder board insignia as well, but that seemed a bit redundant. The uniforms themselves have systems that regulate temperature and can double as pressure suits in a pinch with a detachable helmet, as well as light shielding to protect the wearer from minor hazards. The original Fleet Trooper uniforms in Metroid Prime 3 looked very sophisticated with armor plates and glowing points and circuitry which are presumably shield generators, so I thought I could include something along those lines when I drew this.
